Staff News

Eugene Pauksta joins System 7 Technical Team

Eugene joined Jaguar in December as a Senior Analyst on the System 7 Development Team. He is playing a key role in the development of System 7’s Web Interface, including the Executive Web Queries that are highlighted in the upcoming seminars.

Eugene’s impressive credentials include a Master of Computer Science from the Riga Technical University in Riga, Latvia. Highlights of his many projects include a web-based customer care system for Nextel, web-based voice and reporting system for CIC and an outbound telemarketing dialing system for AT&T. Welcome aboard!

Sylvia Rodriguez promoted to Senior Consultant

Sylvia first joined Jaguar in 1988 and then after a hiatus rejoined the company as a sales representative in 1994. Many of you know her as the primary contact mentioned in Jaguar seminar announcements and Jaguar News. A select few also know that for the past 5 years, she has played an important consulting role as the primary author of Jaguar’s innovative Implementation Evaluations. Her infectious enthusiasm for living helps to make Jaguar an exceptional place to work and serve our clients.

In the future, 2002 will be remembered as the year that Sylvia received much deserved recognition of her intelligence and dedication in a promotion to Senior Consultant at Jaguar. Her responsibilities have now expanded to include system implementation training and project management. Sylvia is looking forward to expanded opportunities for world travel in her new role. She will now report to Paul Mullin, Vice President Implementation Services. Well done Sylvia!

Dan Hickok named Employee of the Year

Dan Hickok joined Jaguar in 1989 and never left! This achievement alone was enough to justify his nomination for consideration as Employee of the Year in 2001. The clincher was his key role in leading a project team to produce the most innovative software product in Jaguar’s history: System 7 Universal Rights Management.

Dan is a disciplined leader whose single-minded focus, combined with a talent for consensus building, has kept Jaguar’s resident geniuses (you know who you are) on an even keel (and speaking to each other!) through the trials and tribulations of this monumental 4 year effort. Dan is also a dedicated family man. His daughter Amanda works at Jaguar in the Quality Assurance Department (this is probably the real reason for his award). Congratulations Dan!
