Seminar: Film & Television Licensing with Release 5.5 - Tomorrow's Vision, Today What? A seminar devoted to showing the entire life cycle of computerized film & television licensing agreements as they are handled by the latest 32-bit software technology. Contract administration, sales support, royalty reporting, accounts receivable and general ledger posting will be presented in a completely integrated vision that shows how far the state of the art has progressed. Who? The seminar is open to film and television distribution and accounting professionals, entertainment industry consultants and Jaguar clients. Why? At the seminar, we will explain how 32-bit technology increases system performance, improves stability and enhances interoperability with Microsoft Office 97, Crystal Reports and other important software applications. We will present an entirely new suite of executive queries built using Crystal Reports and Visual FoxPro that provide instant access to integrated contract and financial data in ways never before possible: by Contract, Customer, Title, Territory, Right, Division and Salesperson. A completely redesigned contract entry function that combines the traditional comprehensiveness of Jaguar with the latest user interface ideas to place a whole new level of power at your fingertips will be demonstrated. Maps and directions are available. Design Council Agenda - 23-26 March The official schedule for the System 7 Design Council has been established as Tuesday through Friday, 23 - 26 March. Six entertainment industry leaders who rely on Jaguar for mission critical software applications will gather in Pasadena, CA to plan their future with Jaguar. The Design Council Members are: Children's Television Workshop Discovery Communications Hallmark Entertainment National Basketball Association National Geographic Television New Line Cinema This meeting has been extended to four days because we expect it to be the most important in the Design Council's history. The official release schedule for Release 5.5 and the finalization of detailed plans for System 7 are its primary goals. The System 7 Requirements Document will be sent to participants on 9 March to give them two weeks to review it and prepare their comments for the meeting.
