A preview version of System 7 Universal Rights Management will be shown to the public for the first time at a seminar to be held on Friday morning, 28 April at Jaguar's Pasadena training facility. System 7 incorporates the best of Internet/client/server technology to take intellectual property rights management, contract administration and royalty accounting to a new level of elegance and efficiency. Single point contract entry for all contract types combined with the flexibility to seamlessly handle all forms of intellectual property from patents, copyrights, trademarks, websites and merchandise to film and television give this system impressive worldwide integration capabilities that support even the largest licensing enterprises. Jaguar Consulting, in conjunction with Children's Television Workshop, Discovery Communications, Hallmark Entertainment, the NBA and National Geographic Society, is in its third and final year of development. System 7 utilizes an exclusive Jaguar-developed n-tier loosely coupled object oriented framework that simply eliminates all arbitrary impediments to user efficiency. This unique framework will enable the nearly simultaneous introduction of both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle 8i database versions. Fabulous features abound, such as the ability to re-label data fields to suit the industry terminology and/or language (i.e. French) to optimize the system for an individual installation. System 7 Unveiled!
Jaguar Presents New Media Rights at FAME Breakfast John Grubbs, EVP Sales & Marketing at Jaguar Consulting will be a featured speaker at the next Financial & Administrative Managing Executives in Entertainment educational event to be held from 8:00 to 10:00 AM on Tuesday 11 April at the elegant Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. M-commerce, Personal Video Recorder, Webcasting and many other exploitation avenues are moving from novelties to serious revenue sources. These new formats pose opportunities and dangers that are an order of magnitude greater than new delivery media introductions of past decades, with dramatically less time available in which to sort out the most profitable strategies. John will be representing Jaguar in talking about Jaguar's efforts and the experience of our clients in dealing with the new digital media reshaping the outlook for the entertainment industry and intellectual property owners of all types. Jaguar's clients are now grappling daily with the contract and system administration implications of evolving rights, royalties, revenue and participations issues surrounding direct consumer digital delivery, self-service licensing, E-tailing, rights marketplaces and digital asset management. Jaguar is involved with a number of industry leaders in refining and expanding the functionality of our system to move beyond their immediate challenges to realize new levels of efficiency and operating vision. Key examples of these projects will be among the highlights of the presentation. For more information contact FAME:
