A preview version of System 7 Universal Rights Management will be shown to the public for the first time at a seminar to be held on Friday morning, 28 April at Jaguar's Pasadena training facility. System 7 incorporates the best of Internet/client/server technology to take intellectual property rights management, contract administration and royalty accounting to a new level of elegance and efficiency. Single point contract entry for all contract types combined with the flexibility to seamlessly handle all forms of intellectual property from patents, copyrights, trademarks, websites and merchandise to film and television give this system impressive worldwide integration capabilities that support even the largest licensing enterprises. Jaguar's FAME presentation (see above) will provide a starting point for a visionary systems discussion of the demands for innovative flexibility and granular data capture presented by evolving new delivery media. From the beginning, System 7 has been designed to capture, manage and account for industry leaders' abundant creativity as they meet and master the opportunities and challenges of the unfolding digital age. The latest insights from the System 7 Design Council meeting (to be held 12 -14 April at NBA headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey) will be incorporated as well. Jaguar Consulting, in conjunction with Children's Television Workshop, Discovery Communications, Hallmark Entertainment, the NBA and National Geographic Society, is in its third and final year of development. System 7 utilizes an exclusive Jaguar-developed n-tier loosely coupled object oriented framework that simply eliminates all arbitrary impediments to user efficiency. This unique framework will enable the nearly simultaneous introduction of both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle 8i database versions. Fabulous features abound, such as the ability to re-label data fields to suit the industry terminology and/or language (i.e. French) to optimize the system for an individual installation.
