	System 7 Version 1.61 Long Form Contract Enhancements

	A major mid-year release of System 7 has been made available for downloading by Jaguar clients. Version 1.61 represents the most substantial upgrade to System 7 delivered since System 7's completion as a functional replacement for its predecessor in 2003. Five new technologies are incorporated into this release designed to enhance System 7 capabilities in supporting Legal Department contract creation: an upgrade to Business Objects Crystal Reports 11, a new Rich Text Format Editor, Contract Comment Field Search and Replace, Contract Field Embedding (due as a update at the end of the month) and an available for purchase Connectivity Kit utility module. Business Objects Crystal Reports XI provides strongly-enhanced abilities to export contract forms to Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF files without loss of refined font, paragraph and redlining presentation. Rich Text Format Comment Field Editor allows System 7 to offer the widest possible range of highlighting, formatting and organizing options within Contract Terms Editor and countless other free-form comment fields. Contract Comment Field Search and Replace enables contract editors to easily correct existing contracts, create new contracts through copying and batch updating, and locate key contractual terms and conditions. Contract Field Embedding enables the direct incorporation of contract data elements such as guarantees, expiration dates, and option triggers into the text fields used to assemble and maintain legal terms and conditions. Connectivity Kit offers an advanced programmer interface designed to ease external integration with corporate Address Books, Asset Masters, Contract Repositories, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable systems. Taken together, these enhancements enable Legal Departments to create, email and update deal memos and executed long forms of exceptionally professional appearance, legibility and accuracy.
