Jaguar Consulting, Inc. announces changes to senior management positions
PASADENA, October 15, 2008 - Jaguar Consulting, Inc. has announced that effective November 1, 2008, a transition of changes to the senior management
team will be complete. Chief Operating Officer, Donald Rothenberg, will assume the role of Chief Executive officer,
replacing Randy Johnson, who has held this role for twenty-three years. This comes along with the announcement that
John Grubbs will step down as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Bill Gibbs is retiring from his role
as Senior Vice President of Software Support. Adam Lefkowitz will now lead the sales and marketing efforts and will
continue managing the consulting group as Executive Vice President, Sales and Consulting Services. Paul Mullin will
assume the role of Senior Vice President, Software Support, adding the management of the software development and support
staff to his quality assurance group leadership responsibilities.
These moves have been planned for some time and Jaguar has been transitioning these position changes over the past few months.
Mr. Johnson and Mr. Grubbs will remain with Jaguar Consulting serving in other capacities that maximize their industry
knowledge and contribution to the organization in support of ongoing activities. Mr. Gibbs, while officially retiring,
will remain with Jaguar for the near future as an independent consultant.
“This is an exciting time for Jaguar and I am enthusiastic about our ongoing software development initiatives. I am
confident that the reconfiguration of our management team puts Jaguar in the best position to move into our next
generation of software and that we will continue to lead the way in IP Rights Management Software,” Mr. Rothenberg
stated with enthusiasm. “In recent months we have started on the development of what will be our new flagship product;
a .NET version of our groundbreaking Universal Rights Management product. This version will introduce a thin-client
front end with enhanced report writing and executive dashboard functionality while keeping our well-structured SQL
database intact. We believe our new management structure is best-suited to take on this exciting venture into a newer
technology.” Mr. Rothenberg has over thirty years of industry experience, including his twenty years at Jaguar, and
has served an integral role leading the design of Jaguar’s core rights management software and has been COO for the
past eighteen months.
Mr. Lefkowitz has been with Jaguar for seven years and has been part of the senior management team for the past
eighteen months at which time he assumed leadership of consulting services. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Lefkowitz,
who has always played a central role in sales activities during his time at Jaguar, began working more closely
with Mr. Grubbs on sales efforts making this transition seamless. “I am thrilled to be heading up the sales and
marketing activities at Jaguar. I believe that my industry experience and close working relationship with our
client base gives me a unique perspective when pitching our software and services to prospective business partners.
I am confident that the strides that we are making in functionality and technology will put us even further ahead
of our competition making our software a product that truly will sell itself,” said Mr. Lefkowitz. “This has been
an exciting year as we have introduced software hosting and leasing options to make our software more accessible
to companies without the ability to make capital expenditures. We look forward to new modules and offerings as
we progress with our .NET initiatives.”
Mr. Mullin has been part of the Jaguar family for eight years serving initially as part of the consulting services
group and as a senior manager of the quality assurance team. He has been part of the Jaguar management team during
his entire tenure at Jaguar and has worked closely with the development group and software support team at Jaguar.
His involvement in all design aspects of the software make him a natural fit to take over for Mr. Gibbs. “These are
very big shoes to fill,” said Mr. Mullin. “Bill Gibbs has done a tremendous job in serving our clients and ensuring
well-managed software development. Replacing Bill will be a big challenge but I am committed to supporting the high
standards that he established.”
“As we move forward to an even brighter future at Jaguar, I am certain that our current and future clients will
benefit greatly from the direction that our company is taking”, said Mr. Rothenberg. “We believe that the coming
innovations will truly help our clients have greater access and insight to the vast amounts of information that
our software tracks related to their intellectual property, allowing them to better capitalize on their assets.”
“At the same time, it is important for us at Jaguar to recognize the accomplishments of Mr. Johnson, Mr. Grubbs
and Mr. Gibbs as they move on to other areas of focus. Their contributions have made Jaguar the leaders in our
market and have perfectly positioned us to move into this next phase of our company’s growth.”
